Word games have long been the iconic genre of puzzle games due to their interesting gameplay and simple design. Some of the phenomenal word games are Wordle, Strands NYT, and Heardle. However, these already-known titles may be too complicated for some new learners. For this reason, the Spellie game is released to the public.

Generally, this version is also an ordinary word-guessing game like others. The points that make the game more unique compared to the others are the flexible difficulties and straightforward clues for different levels of language learners. Players will solve word puzzles from the easiest level to more difficult ones.

How To Play The Spellie Game

The Spellie game is separated into three levels: Hard, Medium, and Easy. Briefly, the difficulty at each level will increase along with the number of letters contained in the secret words of the game.

Detailedly, in the easy mode, players will have to guess a four-letter English word of the game. Next, in the medium mode, players have to deal with a five-letter English word. In the most challenging part, players have to find a six-letter English word.

Despite the varying number of letters, the game allows you to make six guesses in every level of the game. To make your guess, you have to type an English word with the same number of letters as required in the blank table and press Enter.

Hints Of The Spellie Game

Once players submit their guesses, the Spellie game will offer hints for them to get closer to the solution:

The green color is applied to letters that are perfectly put in the guessed word. You win the game when having a green word.

The yellow color is for letters that are also contained in the solution word, but they are misplaced in the guessed word. You have to put yellow letters in another position of the later guesses.

The blue color indicates letters that are not related to the hidden word of the game. Try to avoid using blue letters in your guesses.

Can You Replay The Game?

Spellie offers players the chance to replay all the previous word puzzles. You can press the Calendar icon located on the left of the logo. Then, all the available puzzles from the game's release will be listed on the screen. Just select your favorite one and enjoy it!
