Diffle

Diffle: A Twist For Word-Guessing Enthusiasts

Diffie is a new spin-off of Wordle, designed to push your language and reasoning abilities to their limits. It is not ideal for beginners as it defies all conventional boundaries.

You start without knowing about the mystery keyword, including its letter count. Difficulty increased? Absolutely, YES! But at the same time, the game also promises greater excitement to keep you engaged for hours. Before delving into the extensive word database, let's walk through the gameplay.

How To Play The Diffle Game

Players may feel confused when they first access the game. It is nothing more than a virtual keyboard. Surprise? It does not even have a grid that defines the number of attempts allowed and the length of the mystery keyword.

In return, the horizon is the only limit here. Feel free to input any word that comes to your mind on the first try. That's when the real challenge begins! The characters transform themselves to give you hints.

Hints In The Game

Those familiar with wordle find it easy to catch up with the color hints.

  • Green shows that you have unlocked a part of the result. Best of all, it stays in the correct order relative to the correct letters within your current input.
  • Yellow means a letter that is correct but misplaced.
  • Gray indicates that the character does not belong to the solution word.
  • However, these hints alone are not enough to uncover the hidden keyword. Take the time to look at the shapes surrounding the letters. Do you notice any differences from previous games? In addition to the usual round tiles, new shapes provide extra clues.

Suppose you see at least two letters enclosed within a green cylinder; they are placed in perfect order. It would be best if you repeated this placement in your subsequent attempts.

There is another special detail worth noting. If a tile appears with a rounded edge on one side and a square edge on the other, it tells you another thing: If the square edge is on the left side, the secret word starts with that letter. If it is on the right, that's the final letter of the solution word.

With such clues, you can figure out hidden keywords with less effort. You win the game when all the letters turn green. However, try to use as few turns and characters as possible - the fewer, the more impressive your performance.
