What Is Biblicle?

As the name implies, Biblicle is a blend of “biblical” and “Strands NYT.” So, this is a word-guessing game like Wordle, but it’s developed based on the Bible. As Christians, the Bible must be our trusted companion, and His teachings will guide you through the ups and downs in life.

However, reading and learning the biblical truths can be tiresome for some. Why not spice things up with Bibicle? This is a fun way to discover the Bible for hours on end without feeling bored.

How To Play The Biblicle Game?

Now, let’s embark on a divine word-guessing adventure with Bibledle! Like the popular Wordle game, this variant challenges you to uncover a secret 5-letter word in a 5x6 grid with a biblical twist. The words are all inspired by the Bible—names, concepts, or terms that appear in the Scriptures.

You have 6 attempts to discover the 5-letter word. All your guesses must be valid biblical terms or English words connected to the Bible—no spaces, special characters, or slashes allowed.

Input your guesses using the on-screen keyboard or type directly on your physical keyboard. Hit “Enter” to submit your word. After that, analyze the colored hints to give the next guess:

  • Green tile: The letter is in the solution and correctly placed—well done!
  • Yellow tile: The letter is in the solution but in the wrong position. Rearrange it in your next guess.
  • Gray tile: This letter isn’t in the solution. Avoid using it again.
  • Strive to solve the puzzle in as few attempts as possible! Bibledle not only tests your word-guessing skills but also deepens your knowledge of biblical vocabulary and Scripture.

Whether you’re a devoted Bible enthusiast or just love a good challenge, Bibledle is a fun and faith-filled way to sharpen your mind and enrich your understanding of biblical language. Start guessing and uncover the word of the day!

    Tips For Playing Biblicle

  • Begin with well-known 5-letter words from the Bible, such as names (David, Jesus, Saul), places (Zion, Bethel), or key terms (grace, faith). Avoid overly obscure guesses initially to maximize your chances of hitting letters in the solution.
  • If a guess yields some green or yellow tiles, think about related biblical words that might fit. For example: If “GRACE” yields green letters for “G” and “R,” consider related words like “GREAT” or “GRIEF.”
