Wordle Junior

About The Wordle Junior Game

Wordle is a game that's as simple as it is effective. Its straightforward gameplay and player-friendly design make it easy for anyone to pick up and play. Despite its simplicity, it has managed to captivate millions of players on the Internet within just a few months of its release.

Besides the original version, puzzle lovers enjoy other spin-off versions, and here we have the Wordle Junior game. While the original game is for people of all ages, Wordle Junior, as its name implies, focuses on easy word puzzles for children.

In fact, this variant literally resembles almost every aspect of its original version, except for the modified level of difficulty. Now, go straight into the gameplay of the Wordle Junior game.

How To Play The Wordle Junior Game

The Wordle Junior game also comes with a layout quite similar to the Wordle game, but there are still some modifications.

Detailedly, players will have 7 rows and 4 columns to make their word guesses, which means they have 7 guesses to figure out a 4-letter English word. You can see the word length in this version is shorter than the Wordle game, but there are more allowed guesses here.

To make a guess, players have to type a 4-letter English word in the blank spots on the screen and press Enter to submit their guesses. Since the Wordle Junior game is a word game for kids, some rude and sensitive words are excluded from the word source of the game.

Hints In the Wordle Junior Game

The Wordle Junior game is a remake version of the Wordle game, so it also features hints like its original version:

  • The green color tells players the letters are perfectly put in the guessed word. You should keep them in the same position in the later guesses.
  • The yellow color indicates a nearly correct guess. You should keep yellow letters in the subsequent guesses but in another position of the word.
  • The gray color is applied to letters not included in the solution word.
  • Besides the colored hints, the game offers players additional support. If the game recognizes you can’t achieve any green letter in at least 3 tries, it will allow you to see one of the green words in advance. Then, you have to complete other parts of the word.
