Moledle

Moledle Under Expert View

We call Moledle a journey to uncover a mysterious word daily. With the interface and the way to play that are the same as many other Strands NYT games, it has fooled many players on the first tries.

If you fill in the answer based on the colored hints in this puzzle version, you will be sure that you will miserably lose because the feedback in the game includes the right and wrong letters.

It means that the letters in the keyword and the removable letters show a similar color, creating a big challenge for players.

Learn About The Letter’s Color In Moledle

The word-guessing games will send feedback by highlighting the letters with the colors. Generally, the green letters are right in the position of the keyword, while the yellow letters require changing the locations, and the gray letters are the eliminated letters in the next guesses.

However, these things are not entirely true in Moledle. Take care! The green characters can still change into gray, while the gray can turn into green and yellow.

If you want to determine the letters in the hidden words, you must reuse them again. The letters with the fixed colors are relative to the keyword and vice versa.

How to Play

The 5x6 grid system corresponds to the number of letters in the secret word and attempts. There is no strategy at the first guess, so you can randomly fill in any 5-letter word. You also receive feedback immediately.

Although the color hints in the Moledle game are changeable, you should also consider them to optimize your following guesses. By reusing the green letters, you can eliminate the unnecessary letters.

You also need to place the yellow in the rest of the positions and reuse many letters in different locations. Sometimes, it must add a bit of luck so that you can correctly guess the mysterious word in six tries.

At the final guess, your answer is still incorrect; the game will reveal the keyword. Due to a puzzle feature in a day, you must wait until tomorrow to play Moledle again.
