Word-guessing games have always been steady in the list of the best puzzle games on the Internet. Notable titles like Strands NYT or Wordle NYT have changed people's perception that only superior graphic games are likely to be multi-million franchises. Clickword is continuing on the same successful path as these outstanding names.
It is a word-guessing game that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Unlike other games, Clickword doesn't reveal all the letters at once. Instead, it surprises you by showing them randomly and gradually. This element of surprise adds a whole new level of excitement to the game, making it a must-try for all word game enthusiasts.
Players can't foresee which words they will guess, so they have to improvise with the random letters given by the game. This is why this variant is considered more exciting and requires more strategic movement than other word puzzles.
It consists of a 6x6 grid, but don’t mistake the grid with others from different word games. The grid in the Clickword doesn’t tell you the number of guesses you can make and the number of letters in a word, but it is just a place for you to make word guesses.
The number of guesses available will appear in the “Tiles Left” section. One tile is adequate for one random letter the game hides from you and can be seen as a guess. You will have 60 tiles in total, so you can make 60-word arrangements in the game.
Moreover, the game demands that the word length must be from 3 letters and above. You will form a word guess by dragging letters together until they become complete words. If the word is correct, the letters will change from blue to green, and you must press the green word to submit it to the system. Be careful not to relocate letters once you put them in the grid.
The Clickword game will evaluate your performance via the score you attain after each found word. The score awarded to a word will depend on the number located in the bottom right corner of the letter.
Briefly, the score for one word will be the total of the number in each letter included in the word. If the letter has “2x,” “3x,” or so on in the top left corner, it means that the score applied to the letters will be doubled or tripled, or so on when a word is formed with the letter.
